What information we collect

When you place an order or reach out through an enquiry form, we collect the details needed to fulfil your request — typically your name, phone number, email address and delivery address. For custom cake or bulk order enquiries, we may also collect details about your event or requirements. We keep this to the minimum needed — we don't ask for information we don't need to serve you.

We also collect anonymous, first-party analytics about how visitors use our website — pages viewed, general location and device type — to understand what's working and what isn't. This data is not tied to your identity, and by default we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to process and fulfil your order, arrange delivery or pickup, respond to enquiries, provide customer service, and send order status updates (such as confirmation and delivery emails or messages). We don't use your contact details for unsolicited marketing unless you've asked to hear from us.

How we don't share it

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason. When an order is fulfilled through a courier or delivery partner (for example Shiprocket, for non-local or bulk orders), we share only the details that partner needs to complete the delivery — such as the recipient's name, address and phone number.

Cookies & local storage

Our website uses your browser's local storage to remember your cart between visits, and a session cookie to keep you signed in during checkout where applicable. We also use an anonymous analytics cookie to understand site usage as described above. None of this is used to build an advertising profile of you.

How long we keep your data

We retain order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, handle any after-sales queries, and meet our accounting and legal record-keeping obligations. We don't keep personal information longer than reasonably necessary for these purposes.
